Shika is an empathetic, attentive and encouraging teacher. He was quickly able to correctly assess my language level and oriented the lessons to my wishes. After a free and often entertaining oral exchange, we read a short text together. He helps me with pronunciation and explains words I don't know directly in Arabic. After each lesson, he sends me the newly learned words in a Word file as well as the text I have read. I find Shika to be a dedicated, competent and reliable teacher.
I’ve been taking classes with Shika for the past 5 months and I have seen such a big improvement in my Arabic. Shika took the time to understand my learning style and the tools that work best for me. He is patient and takes the time to explain grammar and slang in ways that I can understand. I am a person who enjoys flexibility and self directed learning and Shika has accommodated for that, allowing me to choose lessons and bring my own materials to class. I’d recommend him to anyone who’s looking for an Arabic teacher!
