Egyptians seem to be in love with Italian furniture that they borrowed many words from there, starting from the word furniture itself:

1. Mobilia
In Italian “mobilia” refers to portable furniture. But every kind of furniture to Egyptians is now mobilia, movable or not.

2. Vaza
From “Vaso”, which means a vase.

3. Sala
This means hall or reception area.

4. Banyo
This means bathtub which is derived from the word bagno (bath in Italian).

5. Varanda
From Veranda which means balcony.
